Susan Libertiny is an Advanced Master Gardener who gardens in the wonderfully unpredictable Zone 5 climate of Southeast Michigan.
This website will periodically feature photographs from Susan’s personal garden as well as gardens that she visits throughout the world. The site will focus on garden design and garden history.
Gardens are magical places that can refresh our spirit and provide calm in an otherwise busy world. As the words engraved on the stepping stone at Barnsley House in England state, “As no man be very miserable that is master of a garden here; so will no man ever be happy who is not sure of the garden hereafter...where the first Adam fell the second rose.”
